the next step

After the horrible experienced she's been trhough, Sophie Price would not stay calm. Ever since that night happened, shes been feeling guilty and would not stop thinking about if all these children have been through the same. she asked herself over and over how she can be complaining about her parents and how they treat her however these kids end up orphaned. she finally put herself in someone else's shoes. She found this little girl that was so fond of Sophie and Sophie was fond of her also. Sophie felt like she was connected to that little girl in an unusual way. Her relationsyhip with Ian (Dingane) grew stronger day by day as they've spent time with each helping with the construction and the kids. one day, Karina, Ian, Sophie and all the children went to the kids favorite place to swim. Everyone grows closer together while swimming in the water, playing games and eating. while everyone except for Ian and Sophie stay behind because Karina suggested they should stay behind, Ian and Sophie kiss. they have a connection as strong as Love. However, while they are walking back to the orphanage, Ian confesses that he is going to spend a weekend back home and asked if Sophie wanted to go with him. that was taking the next step in their relationship.

After spending a night not sleeping, she wakes up before the sunrise. she tries to go and take showers but there are plenty of insects in the shower, the water is cold and she is alone bored out of her mind the first night she spent in Masego. When everyone finally woke up, they all got ready, they ate and its time for work. Dingane and Sophie are teaching classes, Karina is taking care of the babies, Charles is fixing the run-down buildings containing the children and everyone else is taking care of more children, cleaning and laundry of the orphanage. In class, Sophie feels an enormous force attracting her to Dingane. She couldn't explain it because he was rude to her and she thought he hated her. while one child was confused about the lesson, Sophie helped him through his trouble's. She felt so helpful and excited for helping someone other than herself. Dingane could not stop looking at her throughout the entire class which was from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. After classes they went to eat dinner than went out to help on a fence Dingane was building way before Sophie's arrival. they finally talked for real. she found out that his real name is Ian. he started to actually like her but wouldn't admit. after a few weeks went by, they had a surprise attack from a far away village that needed Masego's help with the children. it was in the middle of the night and Sophie was obligated to go to replace Karina who was supposed to prepare the aid she needed to help the children in need of taking care of. when Sophie, Ian, Charles and a few other workers jumped on the Jeep, it was a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive to the attacked village. in the car, Sophie asked if what she was about to see, she would never forget. They were going to be truthful to her, and it was a yes. what she was about to see was something that could scar a person for life. when they finally arrived to the village, ian, Charles and other workers got out of the cars with multiple weapons. Charles and other went in their separate directions to help aid little children. Ian and Sophie ran to a young girl who had holes in her chest and was bleeding excessively. Sophie examined her while holding the blood down. she predicted that the girl was only about 7 or 8 years old and she laid there next to her dead mother a surfeit amount of blood. the look on her face was like a stick figure. she had no expression on her face. Sophie could not stop crying. when everyone went back to the cars with about 30 children lying down sleeping or either injured horribly and are crying. some stayed behind because they did not want to leave their dead parents side. when they returned, everyone was running to the aid of the children to change what they used to cover the bloods from dripping out of their tiny little bodies. Sophie was afraid and traumatized about what she just happened. she asked herself "does this happen often?". she felt horrible about thinking how she wanted to go home and stay in her bed with her italian sofa and greek sheets and pilllow. she found something in common with these children, she was lost just as they were. she had no parents and nothing to guide her. after all the children went to sleep and their wounds were stitched up, they all went to sleep.

continuation........

lost soul
After Sophie got caught with the drugs and arrested. She had to present herself in court for judge Francis Reinhold to arrange a sentence for her. Pembrook, Sophie's father lawyer and Sophie father figure or preferably only family figure, made an agreement to instead of jail, Sophie go to Masego. You should probably know what Masego is. Masego is a an orphanage for children in Uganda to protect them from the horrible group called the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) led by a horrible man named Joseph Kony. Kony roams South Sudan and Northern Uganda I search of children in small and powerless villages and invades the villages and kills all the parents leaving the children no choice to come with him to form a children army and the ones who didn't agree to come, he cut a piece of their body off to leave them helpless. When Sophie was getting ready to leave L.A, she thought Bout how her life would be the same after this trip. The six months forced in Uganda would be over and she would go back to being the queen of her group, spending like there was no tomorrow and being rebellious. However she was scared to catch a disease or something there. This was brought from the visit of her doctor and Pembrook giving her tips on what is to come; insecurity, danger, diseases and etc. In front of the plane, she is getting a last goodbye from Pembrook, not her parents but from Pembrook. It was a tearful goodbye and that is when she realized that he was there when no one else was. She boarded the plane and it took off. She was filled with fear, not knowing what is going to happen. She gets to Uganda and a guy called Dingane was waiting for her outside net to a run down Jeep. Sophie found this guy absolutely gorgeous. Hair like a god, lips so nice and plump that She wanted to stick her whole face on just those those lips, muscles that could move a truck miles and miles away and eyes like a deep blue sea taking you on an ongoing journey of Magnificence. However his attitude toward her wasn't so attractive towards her. He was brutal and not polite. He grabbed her bags and told her to follow him. They jump in the car and The drive was long to the orphanage from the airport, about two hours and a half. During the drive he confessed to her what Masego is for and the LRA, hoping she would turn back and prefer jail but she didn't take the bait. They finally arrived in Masego. Dingane was cornered by little children. However these little children all have disabilities such as no eyes, missing arms and legs and more. She felt bad for thinking about how she was going to miss her home when these kids have nothing except hope and faith that everything will be okay. A young looking beautiful woman comes walking up to Sophie. She isn't actually young, she is a woman in her 60's looking half her age. She welcomes Sophie with such a jovial attitude that she is there and introduced herself as named Karina. Before she told her life story, she asks Sophie if she was hungry but she lied because she was scared to eat. Then Karina  gave Sophie a tour of the camp until they landed in Sophie's hut. While the tour, Karina gave her some info about herself. She has a husband named Charles which whom she shares the responsibility of creating this camp with him. She explained the staff and the work schedule and left Sophie to her hut to get some sleep with no electricity or anything.

Vain by Fisher Amelie

Vain means excessively proud of or concerned about one's own appearance, qualities, and achievements. This book is based on appearances and wealth. It focuses on a rich girl's life named Sophie Price who depends only on her appearance. she got arrested twice already for the possession of drugs. during the second time she got arrested, she tried to con her way into letting the young and handsome cop let her go, however it did not happen because somethings are more important. her father and mother love each deeply, however they are distant with their daughter Sophie. They live in an enormous mansion where one part is for Sophie and the other is for her parents. They never cross paths but only for important business dinners Sophie's father needs Sophie to be present. In the meantime, Sophie gets everything she wants with the money she has and the looks she has. appearances count in that kind of world.
